What predictions can the reader make about the narrator of the story based on details from the text? What inferences can be made about the thought processes of the narrator's mind?
One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.

I think that melody is really trying so hard to do what she wants to do in life. And Melody also wants all her wishes to come true. She also wants people to understand her. She is also mad and sad at the same time and shes trying to fix that, she tries her best to do that.

ReplyDeleteMelody is different because...She cant walk or talk so shes different than most people.Some people can walk talk and do other thing like me and Melody cant do non of that and if melody chould walk or talk at a yougher age she chould be able to do a lot more things.And in this book the other people are almost like her they cant walk and some cant
