One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.

BEGINNING AND END
February 27, 2017
Why is the first page of the book repeated at the end of the book? How has Melody changed both personally and socially, from the beginning of the book to the end?
at first know one wanted to talk to her and she felt lonely, and close to the end every one liked to talk to her because she had a computer that helps her talk back to them so they know what she is saying
I think its repeated because the author wants us readers to remember this. Melody has changed a lot from the beginning of the story.
