One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.

ReplyDeleteThe setting that i am writing about is the setting in chapter 20 because that is the chapter i am on. the setting in chapter 20 is at Melody's school and maybe a little bit at Mrs.V's house,and also maybe a little bit at her own house because almost every chapter ends with Melody going to Mrs.V's house, having her parents pick her and Penny up from Mrs.V's, then going to their regular/ real house. In chapter 20 it also talks about how Melody was eating at lunch time so i am also thinking the go to the lunch room,the gym,or wherever they eat lunch at.
