Write a question for the author, Sharon Draper
One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.
Why did you right of somebody with problems?
ReplyDeleteI got a question for the author. Who did you came up with Melody and her problems? Does Melody really need to have all the problems that she is facing?
ReplyDeleteHow did you come up with great story " Out of My Mind?" And is their going to be a part 2 or continue this story of Melody and her life.

I have a very simple question for you. Will there be a sequel to your novel Out Of My Mind? If you are making another book I would like to be notified, because I have read the entire book. I was very surprised that there were thirty three chapters in the book, because it’s so small. But when you start reading the book it seems to be huge. The first facts about how she feels about her school , is Melody feels invisible because, in the book Melody said,"all of the kids were playing a game and didnt invite me to play it's like i'm invisible." The second fact about Melody, And how she fits in with her classmates. Melody fits in with her classmates, because they all hated the music that Mrs.Billup's played.
