One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.

STUDENT/STAFF POSTED QUESTIONS
December 9, 2016
Teachers and Students: Post a question about the story for other students to answer.
I am on chapter 25 but I haven't had a chance to read it yet so am just writing about chapter 24. in chapter 24 Melody is at the place where the wiz kids from every school meet to see who is the school that gets to go to Washington D.C. At the end of chapter 24 they/ Melody's school has the most points but they still don't know witch school won the finals and gets to go to Washington D.C. If Melody's school doesn't win it is ok for her parents because her parents know she and the kids from her school tried their hardest to win and to go to Washington D.C but I think they are going to win because they have the most points and they have a secret weapon, witch is Melody.
she help her study at her house and write words for her so she know them and she help her study thing important like the states and the capitals and gammers and other so when she go to school she remember
